This project focused on reimagining a retirement home into a timeless, comfortable space that balances everyday living with long-term value.
The Vision
The goal was to transform an aging home into something that felt bright, open, and modern—while still maintaining a warm, inviting character.
We aimed to:
- Improve natural light and ceiling height
- Modernize the layout and entry experience
- Increase curb appeal without exceeding budget
Our Approach
The transformation began with a complete roof reconstruction, allowing us to introduce dramatic architectural features:
- Soaring cathedral ceilings in the main living areas
- A custom fireplace as a central focal point
- Strategically placed skylights to bring in natural light
We also:
- Reorganized the basement into a more functional open-concept layout
- Updated the front entry to create a stronger first impression
To unify the entire home, we re-clad the exterior using premium limestone and stucco, giving it a clean, high-end “new build” feel.
The Result
The finished home feels completely transformed—bright, cohesive, and thoughtfully designed for comfortable living.
The updated exterior significantly improved curb appeal, while the interior now offers a more open and elevated living experience, all achieved within the client’s budget.
