Leaside Laneway Living
Our first independent new build in the Leaside neighbourhood gave us the opportunity to explore a different type of a project. Our design approach included a main house for a young working family along with a laneway suite in line with the City of Toronto vision of tackling housing shortage within our City. The aesthetics of the main house is subtly vibrant with the use of brick and stone while the aesthetics of the laneway suite is modern and contemporary setting the stage for the transformation of the neighbourhood and encouraging more home owners to opt for growth on their existing lots. The main house with approximately 4000 sqft of space caters to the programmatic needs of our client with their young family particularly in the post pandemic world where balancing work and life is the new normal. The home also utilizes smart home automation systems for ease and comfort of its potential owners.
